Sika Design, a Danish family-owned company, was founded in 1942 by Ankjær Andreasen. Initially, the company produced small wicker products using Danish raw materials like straw and reeds. Today, Sika Design is one of Scandinavia's oldest producers of rattan and wicker furniture, known for its quality, comfort, and sustainability. The company's furniture includes dining chairs, side chairs, counter stools, and armchairs. Some of their designs include Nanna Ditzel's iconic furniture, a junior version of the Hanging Egg chair, and wicker furniture in aluminum and ArtFibre. Their furniture is designed by some of the world's best furniture designers and manufactured in their own factories in Indonesia. Sika Design is committed to sustainability and strives to produce furniture with the least possible impact on the environment. Their rattan furniture is durable and can last for generations.
