Braid outdoor furniture was founded in the 1950s in Mogliano, a small town in the Las Marcas region of Italy. It was founded by Luigi Maurizi who created a variety of artisanal wooden products which embodied the art of weaving. More recently, in the 90s, Braid began to create sophisticated exterior pieces made with synthetic fibers for maximum durability, while still maintaining the values of exquisite craftsmanship and elegant design.
