Outdoor floor light with shade in White Tyvek (resembling crumpled paper). Structure is metal. This version of Tyvek is fire-retardant. Size is 37 cm (dia) x 70 cm (oh). The Ripple collection contains hanging and floor lights. Design: Rene Barba.

Modern Design Commentary: Highly unusual light for use indoor or outdoor. In this floor lamp, Tyvek takes the form of crumpled paper. These chandeliers are certified and in widespread use in Europe but must be rewired for commercial contract use in the United States. Specify shades only in the Specification Engine.

Thanks to its fibrous structure, it is tear-resistant and retains its characteristics even when folded. Tyvek® provides an inherent barrier to mold and other microorganisms.
