Material Descriptions & Features: Iroko is a hardwood species from the forests of tropical Africa. Being a resinous wood, it is naturally protected against water and moisture. It features impressive mechanical qualities, such as resistance to bending. Iroko wood is usually stabilized in drying ovens and oiled afterwards. White Carrara Marble is a naturally compact material. It is wear and tear resistant, and frequently used on kitchen surfaces. Carrara marble is treated with a clear matt protective impregnating agent. As a natural material, micro holes or imperfections are considered to be an intrinsic characteristic
