Material Descriptions & Features: Iroko is a hardwood species from the forests of tropical Africa. Being a resinous wood, it is naturally protected against water and moisture. It features impressive mechanical qualities, such as resistance to bending. Iroko wood is usually stabilized in drying ovens and oiled afterwards. Nautical Rope is woven by hand with polyester rope covered in acrylic fibers. The material is resistant to direct sunlight, and deformation, and even when wet, maintains its resistance to repeated stress
