MATERIAL DESCRIPTIONS

Material Descriptions & Features: AMERICAN WALNUT: Canaletto, or American walnut, is a solid wood especially appreciated for its intense color, pronounced veining, and ease of crafting. OAK: Oak represents an excellent balance between technical and aesthetic qualities. It is extremely robust and compact, and compared to other species, it is a very versatile wood due to its ability to take on very different textures and shades of color depending on the treatment to which it is subjected. Finishes on these products include bleached Oak or Oak lacquered in various colors. CERAMIC: Ceramic handcrafted products, from Indochina, are made of glazed terracotta. Depending on the temperature level and their exposure to light and air during the manufacturing process, their color can vary considerably. Due to the peculiarity of the product, a vast tolerance range has been established for the presence of plasters, repairs, and scratches, as well as in terms of dimensions, color, and surface, which can be quite irregular. CARRARA MARBLE: This is a naturally compact material, wear-resistant, and suitable for dining purposes, Carrara marble is treated with a clear matte protective impregnating agent. The presence of micro-holes or imperfections should be considered an intrinsic characteristic of this natural product. CAST ALUMINUM: Cast aluminum is formed by pouring molten aluminum into a mold and allowing it to cool and solidify into a specific shape. This process enables the creation of complex shapes and designs that would be difficult or impossible to achieve with other metalworking techniques. Cast aluminum is also valued for its lightweight nature and corrosion resistance, making it suitable for a wide range of furnishing applications. WAXED IRON PLATE: Tabletops are made from hot-rolled steel plates. These plates may exhibit variations in color shades, scratches, specks, rust spots, and small imperfections due to their entirely handmade nature. To protect the surface and prevent the spread of small rust spots (typical of steel), the final manufacturing phase involves a special pickling process and a wax treatment.
