Material Descriptions & Features: Walnut is a straight-grained hardwood. It is durable and strong, and carves well, which is why it’s often used in ornate furniture. Typically a slightly more expensive wood, it is usually clear-coated or oiled to bring out its richness of color and can easily last a lifetime with proper care and maintenance
