Material Descriptions & Features: TEAK: These products are made of solid teak wood from Indonesian plantations. The Teak is not treated, but its unique inner oily resin naturally improves its impermeability and resistance even to insects and parasites. By exposure to the air, light and weather, its color changes and turns different shades of grey. A long exposure to the weather does not prejudice the product’s stability but can cause some splits io the wood. GFRC CONCRETE: This is a mix of concrete and glass fiber. Thanks to the low water/cement ratio and the presence of glass fibers, the final product stands out for its unique strength, lightness, and greater durability over time. Due to the material and natural drying process, micro-blistering and narrow cracking may appear on the surface without compromising the technical features of the tops. The surface treatment is classified A+ according to the French VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) standard, which classifies products and materials based on their emission rate. BACK-PAINTED GLASS: Cast glass modelled on a texture that gives personality and character to the underside of the glass. Once cooled, the top is back painted to add color and brilliance.
